The Mandrake (Mandragora Officinarum) has been a subject of superstition and awe for centuries. Because of the root's humanlike form, it has been used as an aphrodisiac, a potion to make soldiers of the Middle Ages invisible to enemies, a sedative, a fertility restorer, an expeller of demons, and an inducer of madness. It also enjoys entangling itself in various species of vine. Medium: ink and watercolor on paper.
This is fantastic. Well, so is everything else in here. It's like GOTA but better! All of your fun wacky stuff.
I must admit, my interest in the celebrity side of things is waning... much to my relief. Fun as it can be, I feared that I was only contributing to the rise of celebrity "importance" by adding my own thoughts and comments on various blogs... and feeling ridiculously catty at the same time. That and the fact that I just don't seem to have the time to keep up with it all. That's what's always been fun about GOTA... you poke fun at it all.
But THIS... this is where the rich soil lays, is it not? Keep digging, my friend. What wonderful riches you continue to show us.

I absolutely love your Mandrake stuff. I like the mandrake root as well. Are you going to put out any posters of resplendent chaos? I hope so!!!
