I find much inspiration in the work of some of my favorite artists, so I hang their art right above my drawing table and gaze upon it often: Bald Beaver by Kipling West, Nick Nolte's DUI Mug Shot by Chris Crites, Fresh Tacos by Robert Hardgrave, Untitled by Olivia Brown.
There's so many trinkets stuffed on top of my bookcase that I fear it will topple over. Shown: Handmade clay lantern from Guatemala, handmade beaded deer from Africa, steel table lamp bought from a blacksmith in Northern CA, a scary painting of Keira Knightley.
No work could be completed without the dedicated labor of my hard-working assistant.
A WONDERFUL TOUR FROM A WONDERFULLY GREAT ARTIST!!! I'm going on that ride again!

LOVE your assistant!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE Boston Terriers with their cute buggy eyes and slobbery eagerness. They are so smart and make awesome companions. Thanks for the tour! IT's almost as cool as seeing it in person. I hope things are really going great for you 14!

Don't have time for more right now, but! I love how you have a 'stick' artfully arrainged (sp) in front of the "STICK"

A tour of the genius's workshop! So many beautiful pieces. Its always interesting to see where a talented artisan spends their time formulating their next work of expression. Even though I'm not physically in the workspace, I can feel the focus and the positive energy that imbues (told ya' I'd put that word to work this week, 14)itself into each finished product. I love reading the comments that all of the "14 Faithful" leave on the site, as well. Regulars like Vern, Red, and The Mave always have a good take and leave some funny stuff up for all of us to enjoy.
Happy Holidays to all, and keep rolling, 14!

Abigail looks pretty comfy. I absolutely love that first photo the best... there's something about it, with all of that mothiness going on. Thanks for sharing!

Fah! I think I'm officially a groupy! Does this mean I have to do unspeakable things in a hotel room with what's left of Led Zep?

It is always so nice to find a reminder that there is someone weirder than me around. It's one of the reasons I love you!! :)
Did you see "Valentino, The Last Emperor?" about the designer. You will LOVE it. and Karl makes an appearance. Magnificent.
